We hit our goal!

Today, at 1:13pm, we hit our goal of $10,000. This is a momentous achievement, and I really can't express enough how excited I am!

In response to this amazing news, I would like to give a very special shout out to a few people behind this campaign that have gone unnoticed. Without them, none of this would have been possible.

First of all, I would like to thank our Social Media Director, Tim McEniry. Tim authored almost everything we published over the course of this campaign, not to mention, he helped organize and run all of our social outlets and website. He deserves a giant pat on the back.

Secondly, I would like to thank Ben Grandgenett, who created all of the branding for the project. He is responsible for that pesky little eye that kept popping up in your news feed every 5 minutes, along with our website and banners.

Thirdly, I would like thank Nicholas Stango, who single-handedly shot all of the video content for the campaign. This includes the kickstarter video, and the Unwound Diaries series.

I would also like to thank Kickstarter, both for giving us the means to fund our project, and for featuring us as a staff pick. Thanks to them we were able to extend our reach farther than we could have imagined.

Finally, I would like to thank you! Our friends, family, supporters, and fans. Whether you donated, followed, liked, shared, or even acknowledged our project, you helped make this campaign a successful one. Without you, this project would not be well on its way to success!

Keep following closely, because while we have reached our funding goal, we are still very far away from a finished product. We will continue to post updates about production, and other going-ons within the UNWOUND project.

One final thank you to everyone out there. You are really helping make this dream a reality. I am very close to this project, to this story, and to this girl. Because of your support, I know I am not alone.

Cheers to all,

Michael Marabella

The UNWOUND Poster Series (4 of 4)

It's here!

The UNWOUND Archive is proud to present the final installment in our series of official posters. This one was designed by Ben Grandgenett, who is also responsible for all of the branding for the UNWOUND project, as well as coordinating the UNWOUND poster series. His poster was created for the segment of the film to be directed by James Berry, K.R./Altered, where we see K.R. under the influence of marijuana.

"My poster represents K.R. in an altered state, a time when she questions the perception of herself," Ben told us. "I chose to depict this moment through a distorted, ambiguous classical figure and a subtle reference to forms found on a cassette tape."

We are so thankful to Ben and to the other fantastic designers who have contributed their work to this project. You can be a part of it, too. Donate $30 to UNWOUND through our Kickstarter, and you can submit your own UNWOUND-inspired work to The Archive, where it will be featured alongside the work of dozens of other talented artists. Other Kickstarter rewards include a limited edition copy your choice of one of the official posters in our series, or the complete set of four. We can't complete this project without your help—please donate and share!

Thank you all so much for your continued interest and support!

Lots of love,
The UNWOUND Archive Team

The UNWOUND Poster Series (3 of 4)

The third in our series of official posters for UNWOUND is brought to you by designer John Post. It was created to represent director Brendan Steere’s segment of the film, K.R./Sister.

"My poster explores KR's  relationship with her sister," John told us. "I was inspired by the idea of a Rorschach test, specifically the way two blobs of ink can come together to form one image. By doubling, splitting, and juxtaposing imagery I aimed to create a poster that conveyed the complex, disjointed nature of KRs relationships.

In case you missed them, check out the previous two posters in the series here and here. Don't forget to check back tomorrow for the final poster in our series!

Keep on keeping on,
